Our Swap, Show and Shine

We were pleased at the response to our first Swap, Show and Shine. People actually started to arrive at 7:30 on a wonderful Sydney spring day. By 10:00 the parking lot of the Vicar of Wakefield Hotel at Dural, in Sydney's North-west, was alive with many swappers and cars on display. Cars included Ray Black's Kubel and Schwimmwagen (pictured below), his '52 (pictured left), Steve Müller's '59 Beetle (see above) and '77 Cabrio , Paul McKinley's '54 Barndoor Single Cab and a large selection of other nice rides.

A Country Buggy in reasonable order was the largest item for sale.

The event finished around lunch time, after the raffle draw, most visitor's spending the next hour or two enjoying a great lunch at the pub.

We would like to thank the management of the Vicar for their support, and indeed, their parking lot!
