Ray Black's 1956 Beetle

[1956 Beetle] This car was found in Albury, NSW covered in red dust, permeating even the engine bay and heater channels.

The restoration was relatively simple as the car was largely complete. The seats were re-made to the original colour and new carpets from Dylan Cheesely in the UK were installed. The car was re-painted in its original colour which is called Manly Tan. This colour is unique to the Australian market. (This would be an Australian assembled Beetle) Ray doesn't know why the colour is called "Manly" or "Tan", as it is really similar to "Coral" and other pinkish reds.
