Greg Clarke's 1970 Karmann Ghia Cabriolet

Greg waited 20 years to be able to build this, his dream car.

It started life as a very down and out American import. Much body work was needed, with many panel sections provided by '69 and '72 donor cars. As many parts were very difficult or impossible to find, the car is done more in the "Resto-Custom" style.

The engine is a twin Kadron equipped 1641, and the wheels are by Ronal. The paint is BMW gold with some red pearl added.
