About our Logo
Our logo may
seem a little irreverent, but such bullet ridden signs represent a common
sight on Australian outback roads. (Animal lovers please note that it is
the SIGN which has been shot, not the kangaroo!)
Such signs appear in country areas with, for example, the words "Next 50km" where the VW emblem is in our logo. This warns drivers to be careful for the stated distance - kangaroos of various breeds can be quite large, and do great damage to a car. Night time is the most dangerous.
The kangaroo is the most recognisable symbol of Australia, and is also seen stamped next to the VW emblem on VW parts made in Australia during the 1960's.
We believe that our logo combines the VW symbol, with the symbol of Australia, with a bit of humour for good measure.
